Sherlock Holmes appears in 60 stories, published between 1886 and 1927. These book is translation in 62 languages. Sherlock Holmes have been adapted for theatre,TV, cartoons... In 1893, Conan Doyle killed off Holmes in The Final Problem. But people are angry that years later he was appeared !
The Author was Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930)
He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He love literature as a child. When he has 14 years old he was read Jules Verne in the original !
